About Explore Goa

Explore Goa was originally launched in 2007 as a print tourist guide by Goa Prism Digital Media. As the way people discover places and services changed, the project evolved into a digital platform built around faster search, current local information and practical Goa-focused discovery.

The platform now brings together places, food and drink, stays, things to do, events, essential services and original Explore Goa guides.

Explore Goa is designed to search Goa rather than the whole internet. Its discovery experience is built around an independent local index containing editorial guides, public-interest information and listings submitted or maintained through the Explore Goa system.

Search results may be organised by category, locality, intent, relevance, distance and information quality. We continue to improve the index as more verified and useful records are added.

Residents can use Explore Goa for everyday discovery and essential services. Visitors can find experiences, neighbourhoods, food, accommodation and practical travel information. Goa businesses and service providers can create an account, submit a free listing and request richer paid listing access through the Partner Portal.

Paid access can add features such as additional media, direct contact details, maps, links and enhanced visibility. Payment does not guarantee verification, editorial approval or organic ranking.

Local information changes. Explore Goa therefore includes a community feedback and corrections system. Readers can report inaccurate details, suggest updates or flag a problem from the page where it appears. Submissions are reviewed before the public record is changed.
